Some things I’m looking forward to…
The BoomTown Boat Party!
We had so much fun celebrating our third birthday on the Palmetto Breeze that we’re doing it again this year. We hosted a family event last year, but due to growth, this year’s event is a “plus one” soiree. Not a bad problem to have! Did I mention we’re hiring? If you’d like to work for the best company in Charleston, check out our Careers Page. I’m looking forward to not fitting on that boat next year!
I’m headed home for a few days after the BoomTown Boat Party and I can’t wait to see my family and friends! As a special treat I’ll get to meet Mr. Rhett Matthew for the first time and squeal over my BFF Meredith who is expecting twins. She’s had a rough go at it over the past couple of years and I am overjoyed that her two little bambinos are healthy and growing! She has spoken openly about her struggles on her blog and if you or anyone you know is going through the same thing, I encourage you to pop over and read her words. She writes about it here and here. I can’t wait to catch up with my two besties from high school over a delicious dinner at Rolando’s!
Miss Larissa Raymond Comes To Charleston!
Get ready you Southern boys of the Holy City. Miss Larissa Raymond, aka Big Red, will be here before you know it! Larissa and I became fast friends when working at the Loft in Boston. I love this girl’s expressive take on life and her enthusiasm for all things Southern. We’ll be soaking up the Summer sun while she’s here and eating our way through this great city. I’m thinking Husk, Hominy, The Moose, Rue de Jean, Taco Boy, Fig, The Gin Joint, Belmont, Cocktail Club, Vendue and Blind Tiger for starters. Can’t wait to see her soon!
